I was born and raised in the Eastern Sierra, directly at the foot of Mt. Whitney, in a small town of 1,500 people. I grew up in a vast desert surrounded by 14,000 foot mountains; a breeding ground for outdoor adventures. My family and I spent most of our time hiking, biking, and backpacking through the Sierras. I suppose that’s when my love for photography started. My father always had his Nikon 35mm camera in his backpack and would document our various adventures. It wasn’t until my later teen years that I picked up a camera and was interested in how to see life through a lens. He taught me the basics and sent me off into the world. Since that day, I now see life through my lens. In 2005, photography transitioned from a hobby to being part of my everyday life. I love having the ability to freeze time and emotion. There is nothing better than capturing a moment in time that you know, absolutely know, will last forever.

I am now a husband to a super awesome outgoing woman and we have four amazing kids. We are always on the go and fill our spare time with hiking, biking, and youth sports.

I would love to capture you and your family’s memories. Thanks for stopping by. Feel free to drop me a line.
